Join us as a MongoDB Engineer at Barclays, where you'll monitor and maintain the bank's critical technology infrastructure and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing operational disruptions. In this role, you will apply software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response to ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability.

To be successful as a Database Engineer, you should have:

• Expertise in Ansible for database server configurations
• Experience with DevOps automation tools such as Git, JIRA, and database CI/CD tools
• Good working knowledge of leading SRE practices in large organizations or complex teams
• Knowledge of MongoDB

Additional valued skills include:

• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and migration tasks

The role will be based in our Knutsford location.
