Responsibilities

• Answering customers' eMobility queries and concerns and redirecting more complex questions to a relevant person.
• Explaining the benefits of investing in eMobility from the customer perspective.
• Offering an electrified vehicle based on customer needs.
• Explain EV components in simple terms to customers.
• Provide consultations on EV batteries and charging.
• Explain battery charging options at home via wallboxes before delivery.
• Use dealership systems and order processes relevant to the market.
• Explain vehicle production and delivery timelines to customers.
• Present the full financial impact and benefits of owning a car.
• Negotiate during the sale of a vehicle.
• Prepare new vehicle offers including insurance, financing, trade-ins and delivery dates.
• Collaborate with workshop and management to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Gain exposure to a range of vehicles from heritage to modern technology and receive broad technical training.

Every day is different within the Sales department. As a Sales Executive apprentice, some of your duties will include:

Answering customers' eMobility queries and concerns and redirecting more complex questions to a relevant person.

Explaining the benefits of and motivation for investing in eMobility from the perspective of customers,

Offering a suitable electrified vehicle based on the customer needs

Explain customer related information about the main components of an EV in an easy-to-understand way

Provide consultations to customers on EV batteries and battery charging

Explain, consult and sell battery charging at home via wallboxes prior car delivery,

Using the dealership internal systems and ordering system utilized in their relevant market,

Explain to customers vehicle production and delivery timeline for each ordered vehicle to the customer

Provide a customer-oriented product experience and explain to a customer the full financial impact and benefits of owning and using a car,

Negotiate with customers during the sale of a vehicle

Drawing up a new vehicle offers including, e.g. insurance, financing, trade-in, accessories, date of delivery for a vehicle ordered from the factory

Collaborating and communicating with the wider team including workshop and management to deliver an amazing customer experience.

As an apprentice, you will also have the opportunity to attend Outward Bound, a personal development week which supports with developing resilience, confidence, and teamwork skills.

This is a fully rounded training experience where you will build life skills that last and gain both apprenticeship qualifications and brand certifications.

Training provided:

Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom, remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at our state-of-the-art training centre.

Successful applicants must be prepared to travel to the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes to complete their apprenticeship training. All training-related costs are fully covered as part of the programme, including travel, accommodation, and meals.

In the workplace, your personal, dedicated mentor will support your continued learning as you apply the skills and knowledge you have gained through the remote sessions and at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre.

Qualifications Received

On successful completion of the 18 month apprenticeship programme, you will receive the following qualification (or the equivalent qualification for your devolved nation):
