Job summary

Entrust Resource Solutions is supporting a Biotechnology client recruiting a Molecular Biologist for ongoing project support across Biotechnology and Biopharmaceutical projects. The role covers microbiology, cell cloning, recombinant protein analyses (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot) and cell/microbial culturing.

The candidate will ensure quality and safety compliance, work with a team to meet project timelines, and contribute to projects in enzyme biochemistry, fermentation and biotechnology.

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry (or related subject)
• Hands-on skills in a Biotechnology environment
• Experience with cell culture and protein analysis techniques

Responsibilities

• Ensure all analyses and experiments comply with quality, health & safety standards
• Collaborate with other Molecular Biologists to maintain project timelines
• Assist with projects spanning enzyme biochemistry, fermentation and biotechnology

Job description

ERS is supporting a Biotechnology client who are actively recruiting for a Molecular Biologist to provide ongoing project support to Biotechnology / Biopharmaceutical projects

This role will encompass the knowledge and use of a range of biological disciplines and techniques including microbiology, cell cloning techniques, recombinant protein analyses (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot) and cell culturing / microbial host culturing

Duties will include :

• Ensuring all analyses and experiments are compliant with quality / health and safety standards and systems
• Working with other Molecular Biologists to ensure project timelines are understood and maintained
• Understanding scope of projects , including areas enzyme biochemistry, fermentation and biotechnology
