Mold Office Team Makes Donation to Flintshire Foodbank

The team at the Mold office have demonstrated their community spirit by organising a three-week long collection drive for Flintshire Foodbank, together with Trussell.

Recognising the challenges faced by many in the local area, especially during the holiday season, the team rallied together to gather a substantial donation of non-perishable food and essential items.

Driven by colleagues Carolina Norbury, Finance Manager and Kristie Williams, Assistant Accountant, the Mold office pulled together an impressive 320 items. Donations included a wide variety of items such as:

• Tinned goods: vegetables, baked beans, ready meals, fish, soup, fruit & custard
• Other food items: biscuits, chocolate, pasta sauces, rice pudding, Christmas pudding and cake, jam
• Drinks:UHT semi-skimmed milk, squash, and juice
• Essential toiletries: shampoo, toothbrushes, and other personal care items

"This is a very difficult time for many families and people," said Carolina. "We wanted to give back to our local community and support those who are struggling."

The Flintshire Foodbank provides a vital lifeline to vulnerable individuals and families facing hardship. By providing much-needed food and essentials, the foodbank offers temporary relief and "breathing space" to those who are struggling to make ends meet.

The donation from the Mold office team will be delivered to Flintshire Foodbank on December 10th, just in time for the Christmas break. Carolina continues, “We hope that our efforts will make a difference to the lives of local people, as no one should have to choose between eating and heating!”
