Job summary

A forward-thinking Modular/Offsite business in York urgently seeks 5 experienced Modular Joiners for a large refurbishment project. The successful candidates will perform various joinery duties, from erecting walls to fitting windows and doors, and must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience.
• Ideally have Modular Construction Experience.
• Can work if needed alone and unsupervised.

Job description

Salary/Rate: £19 - 20 per hour + Overtime

5 x Modular Joiners required to start Monday 14th of July

Location: York

Pay Rate: £19 to £20.00 per hour

Duration 2 to 3 months

The Opportunity

We require 5 experienced Modular Joiners to join our client on a large contract, refubishing 5 bay Modular Units.

About the role

5 Multi Skilled Modular Joiners URGENTLY required to join a forward thinking Modular/Offsite business based in the York area.

The main duties will be:

• Using various joinery tools
• Reading joinery construction drawings
• Erecting stud timber walls
• Marking up timber walls
• Stripping and replacing floors
• 1st and 2nd Fix joinery duties
• Plaster Boarding
• Window and Door fitting

Qualifications/and or Experience

• Minimum 2 years 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience
• Ideally NVQ level 2 or 3 in Joinery and Carpentry
• Strong Attention to Detail
• The ability to work under pressure
• Can work as part of a team.
• Can work if needed alone and unsupervised
• Ideally Modular Construction Experience
• Punctual, Reliable and a Hard Worker
