Job summary

A leading modular construction company in the East Midlands is urgently seeking experienced Modular Joiners for a 3 to 4 month contract. The role involves producing refurbished modular bay units and requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in joinery. Ideal candidates will possess NVQ qualifications and have strong attention to detail. Pay rate is GBP20.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime. Own tools and PPE are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Can work as part of a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce refurbished and partly refurbished modular bay units.
• Conduct partitioning and erect stud timber walls.
• Read joinery construction drawings and fit windows and doors.

The Opportunity

We require 2 experienced Modular Joiners (Maybe a team) to join our client starting Tuesday the 5th of August, on a 3 to 4 month contract that may be extended, producing Refurbished and Partly Refurbished Modular Bay Units for various industries including Education/Training,Healthcare and Office Space.

About The Role

2 Multi Skilled Modular Joiners URGENTLY required to join a forward thinking Modular/Offsite business based in the Derby area.

Pay Details

GBP20.00 per hour flat rate with opportunity to work Saturdays.

Hours

Monday to Friday 0730 to 430pm

The main duties will be:

• Partitioning
• Using various joinery tools
• Reading joinery construction drawings
• Erecting stud timber walls
• Marking up timber walls
• Stripping and replacing floors
• 1st and 2nd Fix joinery duties
• Plaster Boarding
• Window and Door fitting

Qualifications/and or Experience

• Minimum 2 years 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience
• Ideally NVQ level 2 or 3 in Joinery and Carpentry
• Strong Attention to Detail
• The ability to work under pressure
• Can work as part of a team.
• Can work if needed alone and unsupervised
• Ideally Modular Construction Experience
• Punctual, Reliable and a Hard Worker
