Job summary

Select Plant Hire is looking for a versatile Modular Trade Specialist to join our manufacturing and installation team at the Wincham Depot. The role covers manufacture, assembly and on-site installation of modular lift systems and modular buildings across the UK.

Based in our Wincham facility, you will work both indoors and on customer sites, collaborating with engineering and site teams. A hands-on mindset, safety focus and willingness to travel are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Keen practical skills and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and safety focus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home when required.
• Willingness to work weekends for installations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble modular lift structures and components in the factory.
• Install modular lift structures and external cladding on site.
• Assemble and install structural steel frameworks and components.
• Install flooring, walls, doors and windows in modular buildings.
• Perform quality checks and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Support installation activities across the UK with site teams.
