The Opportunity
You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide essential mechanical modifications to the interior and exterior of MK5 Rail carriages.
Contract Length: 13 weeks initially, inside IR35 (Paid through an umbrella company)
Location (s): Eastleigh, Southampton
Key Role and Responsibilities
• Mechanical repairs
• Exterior repairs
• Interior repairs
• Modifications and repairs to windows
• Modifications and repairs to interior components
Essentials
• NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
• Mechanically experienced
• Previous experience of mechanical building and modifications
• Flexible to work weekends, as may be required with project demands
• Enjoy working as part of a team
Desirables
• Commutable to Eastleigh
• Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
• Experience within a HGV, Military or aviation background
• FLT Licence
