Job summary

Nigel Wright Group is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and security projects for SME customers. You will work hands-on with Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams, guiding deployments from initial engagement to successful completion.

The role emphasizes customer-facing delivery, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities to advance in modern cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and onboarding projects.
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Conditional Access, Defender, Entra ID and device management.
• Experience securing and managing Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Broad IT infrastructure understanding including Windows Server, Active Directory, networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and implementation projects for customers.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 security and device management solutions aligned to best practice.
• Configure Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
• Manage device onboarding across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• Coordinate project activities, timelines and customer communications.
• Mentor junior team members and support cloud migration initiatives.
• Contribute to service improvements, documentation and best practices.
