Role Overview: The Modern Workplace Architect, operating within the Edge capability, will lead the strategic planning and execution of customer migrations to Windows 11. This involves designing and implementing architectures to support migration, ensuring minimal business disruption, and optimizing IT infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.

Work Environment: Hybrid working—your work location will vary between company offices, client sites, and home. You will be on-site 2 days per week in Salisbury.

Upon employment, you will undergo pre-employment checks, including employment history, criminal record checks, and immigration status verification.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead design, planning, and delivery of modern workplace solutions for enterprise clients.
2. Develop and implement strategies for transitioning from on-premises to cloud management using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
4. Create, test, and deploy application packages using industry-standard tools like Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
5. Provide technical guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.
6. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
7. Document processes, procedures, and configurations.

Skills & Experience:

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, and Autopilot.
• Understanding of posture control technologies like Ivanti/Heat.
• Experience migrating user drives to OneDrive.
• Proficiency in application packaging (MSI/MSIX) and testing.
• Knowledge of security policies and compliance, especially in high-security environments.

Security Clearance: The role requires obtaining SC clearance, which involves residency and other criteria.
