Job description

We are seeking an experienced leader with a background in managing diverse teams at a senior level to join our leadership group. The Modern Matron position is available to support Oak 1 and Oak 3 Adult Inpatient Wards based at the Cavell Centre in Care Group 2.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee safe, high‑quality care, governance, and performance to improve service user experience across the wards.
  • Support the new inpatient clinical model to enhance service flow.
  • Lead and manage acute adult mental health across the inpatient & associated teams in Care Group 2 to deliver safe and effective high‑quality services within the available resources to achieve team targets.
  • Provide leadership and expertise to deliver services within an agreed service model, working with service users and carers and other stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Establish effective multi‑disciplinary working within and across the wider acute services.
