A large NHS foundation trust in Burton upon Trent is seeking dedicated staff for the Maternity Wards. The role involves coordinating non-clinical services to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for patients. Candidates should exhibit compassion, strong communication skills, and commitment to high cleanliness standards. The position offers development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
This post is based on the Maternity Wards at Queens Hospital Burton. The working hours are 7.5 hour shifts covering a 7 day service. Your role will be to work as an integral part of the Clinical Ward Team and to be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the ward area, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
Ideally you’ll have a caring and compassionate attitude, excellent communication skills and understand confidentiality. You will be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to deliver high standards in all aspects of the role. You will also have a good awareness of infection control principles with cleanliness and tidiness being an important part of your role in maintaining the working environment. Having a “can do” approach in supporting our unit team to achieve smooth running of our department is essential.
