Salary: MPS/UPS – £32,916 to £51,047 per annum

A supportive and well-led secondary school in Tameside is seeking a Spanish Teacher to cover maternity leave from September. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a clear focus on student outcomes and cultural engagement.

Role Includes:

Teaching Spanish to Years 7–11 (Edexcel or AQA)

Encouraging cultural understanding through events and language clubs

Contributing to the MFL department’s scheme of work and assessment design

QTS with specialism in Spanish (French or German an advantage)

Up-to-date knowledge of the MFL national curriculum

Experience using a communicative, student-centred approach to language learning
