About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Teacherto join a thriving secondary school in West Bromwich. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled linguist to inspire students in their language learning and contribute to a forward-thinking MFL department.
The successful candidate will teach one or more languages (such as French, Spanish or German) across KS3 and KS4.
Role Responsibilites:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in one or more modern foreign languages.
Inspire students to develop a love for language learning and an understanding of other cultures.
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school and national curriculum.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and departmental resources.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic performance in all lessons.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
A degree in French, Spanish, German or a related field.
Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable).
Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the MFL curriculum.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching languages.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
