Stirling Council's Land Services team is looking for 2 modern apprentices to primarily work within the Grounds squads. You will learn a variety of skills and techniques in the respective Land Service areas. You should enjoy working outdoors, be prepared to work in all weather conditions, and have a genuine interest in grounds maintenance, including planting, strimming, and hedge cutting.
As a Modern Apprentice, you will work towards a Horticulture SCQF 5 qualification at SRUC Oatridge and be expected to travel weekly. You will also undertake other specific training required for the modern apprenticeship. Applicants should be aged 16-19 (or an official summer leaver 2025) and demonstrate enthusiasm for this role and a commitment to learn.

This opportunity is funded through the Modern Apprenticeship scheme. Candidates aged 20-29 may be eligible for enhanced funding if they have a disability or are care experienced.
