Stirling Council is looking for two IT Support Modern Apprentices to join their Technology Team. This role involves supporting staff by setting up devices and handling IT queries. Suitable candidates will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship and gain invaluable experience in IT support. An exciting opportunity has arisen for two candidates to join our Technology Team as IT Support Modern Apprentices. In this role, you will assist and learn how to set up laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and accessories for new users. You will also be the first point of contact for IT queries raised by staff via phone, email, or service desk tools.
The successful applicants should be between 16-19 years old (or a 2025 official summer leaver) and will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in IT Support, SCQF 6 qualification, along with other relevant training.
This opportunity is funded through the Modern Apprenticeship scheme. Candidates aged 20-29 may be eligible for enhanced funding if they have a disability or are care experienced.
