North Ayrshire Council offers a Modern Apprenticeship for residents aged 16-19, focusing on Health & Social Care. Successful candidates will complete a pre-employment course and gain a SCQF5 qualification while developing essential skills in a supportive environment.

Temporary for 12 months.
Interviews may be conducted in person or via Microsoft Teams. A device with a camera and internet access is required. Guidance will be provided for virtual interviews.

As part of North Ayrshire Council's Modern Apprentice Recruitment, if selected as a Preferred Candidate after interview, you must complete a 1-week pre-employment Course with our Employability Partners before receiving a Conditional Offer. The qualification upon completion is SCQF5.
Modern Apprenticeship posts are open to all North Ayrshire residents aged 16-19 at the start of employment.
These positions are based with our Health & Social Care Partnership Teams. Good communication, attention to detail, IT skills, and a willingness to help others are required. You will learn while you earn and gain a nationally recognized qualification.
