A leading council in Shetland is looking for a Modern Apprentice in Administration Support. The role includes extensive training in administration tasks, aimed at providing vital support in the Adult Social Work sector. Candidates will gain practical experience and a Scottish Vocational Qualification.
Do you wish to become a fully qualified Administration Support Worker?
Adult Social Work are recruiting for a Modern Apprentice to join their Administration Support team. The Modern Apprentice will learn how to provide all aspects of administration support within legislation and SIC policies and guidelines. This includes reception duties, archiving, operation of financial systems, and daily admin tasks supporting service delivery. Support will be provided to study in the workplace and via Shetland College, enabling the successful candidate to fully understand their role and gain a Scottish Vocational Qualification in administration.
The Modern Apprentice will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required to meet service needs.
