Job summary

Location: Remote (UK Wide)

We’re excited to be looking for Moderators to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification.

T Level Technical Qualification in Healthcare (Occupational Specialism supporting Mental Health)

The purpose of moderation is to check that centres are correctly and consistently assessing student work and that the materials submitted for moderation meet the required standard.

As a Moderator, you will be expected to complete moderation activities, completing reports within specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to a high standard during our moderation window. Moderation activities begin March 2026 through the end of August 2026. The primary moderation period will be between May and August, during which your engagement will be most critical.

Key responsibilities
  • Attending team and internal standardisation meetings as required, taking ownership of collecting evidence as instructed by the Chief Moderator
  • Demonstrating CPD across your area of expertise
  • Moderating centre marking and document outcomes in line with quality assurance guidelines
  • Planning moderation activities for providers allocated in line with NCFE requirements and the moderation sampling strategy, ensuring a proactive approach is taken
  • Conducting timely moderation activities to monitor and review performance against Awarding Organisation (AO) and regulatory requirements to ensure quality and consistency
