We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Model Risk Management Lead.
The environment in which HSBC operates is subject to increasing regulatory change, including new standards for model governance (SS 1/23). HSBC has aligned its Global Model Risk Policy with these standards. The Wholesale Credit Risk Analytics (WCRA) function needs to enhance its legacy models to ensure compliance.
The Model Risk Management Lead will support the Professional Practices team in remediating SS1/23 compliance for wholesale credit risk analytics models. You will manage multiple stakeholders and demonstrate progress in remediation efforts. You will also support senior management in understanding the impact of regulatory proposals.
