I'm looking for a Model-Based Systems Architect to join BAE Systems in Coventry.What you'll be doing:Design and maintain requirements, architectures, and system designs for complex technical systemsGenerate SysML views to capture interactions between complex systems within the SubmarineSupport with the full utilisation and development of model-based systems engineering artifacts across a portfolio of productsExpand, elaborate, and own key system design elements and associated systems engineering products that drive customer successWork with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements and design elements to ensure optimal performance in constrained technical environmentsDecompose complex designs into understandable components for further elaboration and developmentSupport the execution of the full project life-cycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readinessYour skills and experiences:Hold a Degree or equivalent within a STEM fieldHave a strong familiarisation of SysMLYou will need to have experience of using Model Based System Engineering tool sets such as Enterprise ArchitectHave a firm understanding of Systems Engineering and Systems thinkingFamiliarity with the Engineering System Life-cycle and its related process (specifically processes mentioned ISO/IEC 15288)The salary is £55,000 to £61,500 plus benefits and offers hybrid-working of 3x days per week on-site.You MUST be eligible for security clearance (SC) to be considered for this role
