We are looking for a creative and proactive Mobility Communications Officer to join the FIA Communications team, supporting our mission to promote safe, sustainable, and accessible mobility worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering communications plans, global media relations and content creation that amplify the voice of the FIA and its international network of Mobility Member Clubs. You will help shape stories that matter — from international campaigns to high-profile events — working closely with colleagues across the Communications teams and external partners.

You will report to the Head of Mobility Communications in the FIA Communications team.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

FIA Mobility Strategic Communications:

  • Support the implementation of communications plans to promote the activities, campaigns and events of FIA Mobility, its Regions, and Member Clubs
  • Assist in the promotion of global FIA Mobility and cross-pillar Sport/Mobility programmes

Media Relations:

  • A key part of the role will be maintaining journalist contact lists, identifying key media in the mobility, automotive, and transport sectors and building an international media relations programme
  • Identify media opportunities, draft press releases and journalist briefings
  • Assist with media outreach, preparation of briefing materials and tracking coverage
  • Manage trade media relations across key countries including the United States, Canada, UK, and France

Content Creation (editorial and digital):

  • Identify, create and pitch FIA Mobility community’s stories across different social channels including LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Draft and adapt content for BtoB, BtoG and BtoC audiences, including news stories, FIA publications, newsletters, web pages, briefings, and other editorial materials
  • Create engaging content on fia.com and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram)
  • Draft video interview scripts and help shape video content for FIA and FIA Member Club social media platforms

Event Communications:

  • Support the planning and delivery of communications before, during, and after FIA Mobility events
  • Manage photographers, videographers and external agencies during the events
  • Prepare and conduct video interviews with high level representatives and senior leadership

Internal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the wider FIA Communications team, the FIA Mobility team and other relevant Departments

PROFILE:

  • Communications, Journalism, Politics or other relevant degree
  • One year of professional experience in a similar position related to communications, public and media relations
  • Native or highly proficient English. Spanish and/or French are a plus
  • Awareness of the mobility/automotive sector and changing policy and innovation in this area
  • Experience in media relations
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Full knowledge of the production process of editorial communications materials and publications
  • Solution-oriented, highly organised yet flexible, with the ability to adapt quickly and tackle challenges in a fast-paced international environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with different functions
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite, and more specifically InDesign, is a plus
  • The role will require regular international travel, operating across multiple office locations and countries supporting media relations and FIA events
