We are seeking 3 x Mobilisation and Operation Managers based on a 12-month fixed term contract, that will play a key part in the delivery of our Newborns Programme research study across several NHS Trusts across England.
As a Mobilisation and Operations Manager, you will support the recruitment of site selection and set-up, readiness, monitoring and study coordination whilst establishing new relationships with the NHS Trusts and collaborating with the Newborns Programme Team and other key stakeholders, helping to implement our mobilisation plan and support ongoing recruitment efforts for the research study.

Skills and Experience for Success:
The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and group facilitation skills, particularly in working with external stakeholders. They will demonstrate effective stakeholder management, clear and confident communication, keen attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
A collaborative mindset and comfort working as part of a larger team are essential. Preferred skills include prior experience working within health research or clinical trials, particularly in an NHS setting.
Please note that travel will be required to NHS Trusts within England up to twice a month as part of this role.
Qualifications:
While industry qualifications are a plus, we are equally interested in hands-on real life experience.

Blended working model:
Genomics England operates a blended working model as we know our people appreciate the flexibility that hybrid working can bring. We expect most people to come into the office a minimum of 2 times each month. However, this will vary according to role and will be agreed with your team leader. There is no expectation that people will return to the office full time unless they want to, however, some of our roles require full time on site attendance e.g., lab teams, reception team.
Our teams and squads have, and will continue to reflect on what works best for them to work together successfully and have the freedom to design working patterns to suit, beyond the minimum. Our office locations are: Canary Wharf, Cambridge and Leeds.
Onboarding background checks:
As part of our recruitment process, all successful candidates are subject to a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
