Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Water Treatment Technician for a mobile role across the Midlands and nationwide within the UK. The role covers site-based water hygiene activities, with testing, diagnostics, and compliance duties in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage contract service at client sites, perform PPMs, site surveys, and ensure health, safety and quality standards are met. A 40-hour week, travel within the UK, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Legionella awareness training is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the water treatment industry.
• Plumbing NVQ Level 2 or 3 is required.
• Knowledge of AcOP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 04:01.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM tasks and one-off jobs at client sites.
• Onsite testing of water systems and sampling to UKAS labs.
• Clean and calibrate probes; adjust based on test results.
• Monitor temperatures, flush outlets, and clean/disinfect water systems.
• Service TMV/TMT and perform safe testing.
• Inspect HWS cylinders, CWSTs and other water systems.
• Test onsite equipment including water softeners, UV, and dosing pumps.
• Handle PPM and reactive service calls; assist with small plumbing tasks.
