Equans is recruiting a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 1) to service Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals from West Bromwich. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) with a company vehicle and benefits.

The candidate will conduct water hygiene tasks, carry out TMV servicing, sampling, and logbook maintenance, with DBS check clearance required. The role may involve regional travel within the West Midlands and requires relevant qualifications, a driving licence, and adherence to

Qualifications

• Legionella Awareness Training including extensive knowledge of regulations/byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and other guidance.
• TMV Servicing experience (WH018 training preferred).
• Water sampling experience including understanding of sample suites and bottle types.
• Experience in water hygiene/treatment.
• Valid driving licence.
• DBS Enhanced check with Barred Lists required.

Responsabilités

• Represent EQUANS Water Compliance as a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician on the contract with Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals.
• Carry out remedial works in response to quoted works.
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
• Ensure all site L8 logbooks are up to date and accurate when acting as Primary Technician.
