Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Water Treatment Technician for a Midlands-based, nationwide role. You will deliver high-level customer service while ensuring health, safety, KPI, and contractual compliance across sites and client contracts.

Your duties include water system testing, logbook maintenance, and on-site problem solving with a focus on HWS and water treatment equipment. Travel across the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in the water treatment industry (3+ years).
• Plumbing NVQ L2/L3 and full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of BG29, BG50, HTM 04:01 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete PPM tasks and one-off jobs at client sites with logbooks.
• Onsite testing of water systems and sampling to UKAS lab where needed.
• Clean/ calibrate probes; monitor temperatures and perform disinfections.
• Inspect HWS cylinders, CWSTs and other water systems; use borescope when required.
• PPM and reactive service calls; assist with small works plumbing tasks.
