Job description

Mobile Warehouse Team Leader - Swindon - £25,701

Requirements:

  • Full Driving License and own transport

The Position

  • This is a full-time permanent position, where you will be responsible for driving around Swindon to complete audits on deliveries.
  • Rate of pay: £25,701 per annum
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-minute unpaid break
  • Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 00:00-00:00
  • Working Environment: Ambient

You will be required to:

  • Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork, and check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
  • Be confident in adding and subtracting without a calculator for delivery checks.
  • Respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Ensure your own and the team's KPIs are met.
  • Perform and document weekly supervision with each team member.
  • Monitor audit data to provide performance feedback regarding output and error rates.
  • Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Be able to stand for prolonged periods and kneel, bend, or squat to access low and ground-level stock.
  • Must be aged 18 years or over.
