Job Description:

Mobile Warehouse Shift Leader - Swindon - £25,701

  • Full-time permanent position responsible for driving around Swindon to complete audits on deliveries.
  • Rate of pay: £25,701 per annum
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid break daily
  • Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 00:00-00:00
  • Must have a full driving license and access to own transport
Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and loaded trailers against drivers' paperwork; check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
  • Perform delivery checks confidently, adding and subtracting without a calculator.
  • Respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Ensure team KPI's are met.
  • Conduct weekly supervision with each team member and monitor audit data to provide performance feedback.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Work may require prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, and squatting to access ground-level stock.
