RAC Mobile Mechanics apply their technical expertise directly at customers' doors, performing car services, repairs, and diagnostics at homes or workplaces. We seek skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our expanding team. We provide the van, tools, and bookings—your role is to bring personality, customer service, and experience.

You will have the full support of a network of mobile mechanics, roadside technicians, in-house experts, and RAC professionals. Plus, ongoing training and career development opportunities.

What you'll get with the RAC

• Market-leading base salary of £38,625, with potential to earn up to £48,000 including bonuses and overtime

What we're looking for:

• A friendly personality.
• Enjoyment of variety in tasks and interactions.
• Ability to think on your feet and make decisions for customer benefit.
• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of practical experience as a vehicle technician working with various light vehicles.
• A full UK driving license with fewer than 6 points.
