Job summary

RAC Mobile Mechanic is recruiting for technicians to deliver expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics directly to customers on driveways and car parks. You’ll work within the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, representing RAC with pride and delivering high-quality service away from traditional garages.

You’ll bring Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification, 3+ years in the field, and a full UK driving licence. A van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician with light vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks for a range of light vehicles.
• Manage stock, complete reporting, and maintain clear customer communications.
• Provide first-class service on customer premises, including driveways and car parks.

• A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000
