Job summary

Octane Recruitment seeks a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles at customer locations, including driveways and office car parks. You will perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools, communicating repair needs to customers.

The role requires a Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) in vehicle maintenance, at least 2 years post-qualification experience, and a valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (Level 3 preferred).
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence - maximum 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (driveways, car parks).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tires, brakes.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems including engine and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools/software to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Process payments via card transactions.
• Keep accurate records of work and parts used.
• Stay up to date with automotive tech and repair techniques.
