Job description

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you'll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

Overview

We're looking for someone who gets people and is comfortable chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what we're all about.

Responsibilities

• Mixing things up: every day's a little different - servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks.
• Managing stock, reporting, and keeping customer conversations flowing.
• Thinking on your feet: making the right call for each customer, with different fixes and challenges every day.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Benefits

• A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable)
• A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays
