Job summary

The AA is recruiting a Mobile Mechanic in Peterborough (AN16) to work 40 hours over five days, with shifts between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Saturday. You’ll service, diagnose and repair vehicles at customers’ homes or workplaces, with the tools, technology and support you need to do a great job.

You’ll typically need NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a full UK driving licence with up to six points, plus flexibility to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Level 2: NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent plus strong servicing experience.
• Level 3: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent plus strong diagnostics ability.
• Full UK Category B licence with no more than six points; availability to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults and identify solutions for efficient repair.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service on every job.
