Job description

We are currently working with a fleet maintenance provider who urgently needs to recruit a skilled all-rounder vehicle technician to join their busy mobile team.

Our client manages various fleet operator vehicle companies and businesses with numerous leased cars, minibuses, and light commercial vehicles.

The successful candidate will visit multiple sites to perform pre-planned servicing, repairs, and vehicle inspections, which can often be completed on the move. This role offers a great opportunity for vehicle technicians or mechanics seeking a change from the workshop environment.

The role is Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, plus one in three Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm.

Candidates will be provided with a vehicle, PPE clothing, and all necessary larger equipment. You will only need to bring your own hand tools.

Vehicle Technicians must possess NVQ Level 3 and have at least three years of relevant experience.

For insurance purposes, all candidates must be aged 25 or above.

Your working area will be within an hour and a half radius of your residence.

Additional pay includes performance bonuses and a 9-hour shift schedule with no evening or Sunday work.
