Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: This opportunity is covering the Newport area

Salary: £48,720 basic plus overtime (Overtime rate is time and a half, which is £35 per hour). Overall earnings can be as high as £60,000 depending on how much time you're willing to do.

Hours: This is a 40-hour working week with the earliest start time at 6am and latest finish at 2am, with a 12-hour mandatory rest period in between shifts. Rota is posted 14 days in advance and can be subject to change until 72 hours prior.

Mobile Vehicle Technician role:

• Working closely with the breakdown team, attending breakdowns to diagnose issues, and either get vehicles back on the road or return them to the workshop.
• Identifying problems and advising customers on vehicle issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance, including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
• Delivering exceptional customer service as the face of the business.

Requirements:

• Ideally Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician in Light Vehicle Maintenance; however, Level 2 qualification is acceptable.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
