Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Mobile Fleet Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic with a fleet hire company covering the Maidstone area.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Mobile Fleet Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

  • Position is starting and finishing from home, no need to travel to their Head Office each day.
Duties
  • Look after their own bookings - Checking what parts are required for their jobs and looking at where they need to travel to.
  • Manage their own diaries and Order Parts - this is done when you’re not driving or working on a vehicle.
  • Parts are issued from various suppliers – Technicians order the parts themselves and have them delivered to their home.
  • The work is booked in as logistically as possible in order to minimise travel.
Requirements
  • Be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Have previous working experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Previous mobile experience is highly beneficial
  • Have a UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Able to work as an individual or as part of a team.
  • Adaptable in all types of environments

The salary of this Mobile Vehicle Technician role is up to £36000 basic. The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm (some flexibility required, plus optional Saturdays)
