Role: Mobile Vehicle Technician

Pay, Hours and Benefits

• Salary: £34,000
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Location

This role is commutable from the following areas: Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, Rugby.

Role Overview

This business operates in a very niche and rewarding industry, working closely with their customer to meet each customer’s individual needs. The role is varied, with two days never the same. The business seeks a highly motivated team player who wants to make a difference to someone’s life by improving their mobility. Candidate Requirements

• Experienced Automotive Mechanic or Engineer with extensive experience in Vehicle Mechanics, Electrics and Body Structure
• Undertaken a structured training scheme or recognised Apprenticeship
• Be flexible and able to work to high standards
• Hold a recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or a related subject
• Sufficient engineering experience to carry out light fabrication work, ideally including MIG welding
• Good understanding of auto electrical wiring systems; IMI level 3 Electric/Hybrid vehicle training certificate (ideal but not essential)
• A desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the branch
• Strong ability to provide excellent customer service
• Hold a full clean driving license
