Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician

Location: Hillingdon

Salary: £43,625 basic per annum, OTE £58,000 & overtime 1.5x / A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary by £5,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays

Role responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns with the breakdown team to diagnose issues and attempt to get the vehicle back on the road; otherwise arrange transfer back to the workshop.
• Identify problems and advise customers on the vehicle’s issues.
• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical diagnostics.
• Be the face of the business by delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is preferred; Level 2 will be considered. Open to equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI or NVQ. Must be able to show your qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
