You will be the friendly face providing first-class service and repair work, whether at customers’ workplaces or homes.
As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments, complete service inspections, handle breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and ensure smooth operations. What will I be doing?
- Communicator: Master diagnostics and delight customers by sharing knowledge clearly, making them feel safe and cared for.
- Self-starter: Work independently or in a team, driving to various locations in all weather conditions. No two days are the same, with a mix of appointments and breakdowns.
- Fixer/problem solver: Use your technical skills to resolve issues, whether fixing vehicles roadside or attending appointments, enabling customers to continue their day.
- Be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation—ready for anything, anytime, in any weather, restoring confidence and keeping drivers moving.
What do I need?
- NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
- A full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
- Flexibility to work hours that may include evenings.
