Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an Automotive Mobile Mechanic to travel to private and business customers, delivering high-quality servicing and repairs from a fully equipped mobile workshop van.

You will join an experienced team, receive training and ongoing support, and have opportunities for career progression. A starting salary is offered and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of mechanical experience in a garage or mobile environment.
• At least 1 year of mobile mechanic experience.
• Good knowledge of a wide range of CV and hybrid vehicle makes and models.
• Willing to work additional hours when required.
• Able to travel daily and work outdoors in a mobile role.
• Previous customer-facing experience and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Travel to private and business customers to perform servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Operate from a fully equipped mobile workshop vehicle.
• Work with an experienced team and utilise provided tools to succeed.

The Role

As an Automotive Mobile Mechanic, you will travel to private and business customers to carry out high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs from a fully equipped mobile workshop vehicle. You will be supported by an experienced team and provided with the tools required to succeed in the role.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of a wide range of CV and hybrid vehicle makes and models

• Willingness to work additional hours when required

• 2–4 years of mechanical experience in a garage or mobile environment

• At least 1 year of mobile mechanic experience

• Confidence carrying out more complex roadside repairs

• Able to work independently using own initiative

• Strong attention to detail

• Previous customer-facing experience

• Prepared to travel daily

• Excellent time management and reliability

• Comfortable working outdoors in a mobile role
