Job summary

Dropless Ltd is expanding its automotive services and seeks an Automotive Mobile Mechanic to visit private and business customers, performing repairs in a mobile workshop with full team support.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years servicing experience, NVQ 2/3, and comfort with roadside repairs, daily travel, and delivering high-quality workmanship for client sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification held.
• 2–3 years servicing experience.
• 1–2 years as a mechanic in a garage or mobile setting.
• Good knowledge of CV and hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mechanical repairs and servicing in mobile workshop.
• Visit private and business customers on-site daily to carry out repairs.

About the role

Being an Automotive Mobile Mechanic, you’ll be on the road each day visiting private and business customers alike to perform high-quality mechanical repairs and services in your own personalised mobile workshop. All with the full support of a team that’s built around you.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of a wide range of makes and models of CV and hybrid vehicles
• Willingness to work long hours where necessary
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience of servicing
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a mechanic at a garage or mobile
• Min NVQ level 2 or 3
• Be confident in more complex roadside repair
• A self motivated individual and able to work on their own initiative
• Hard working
• Has great attention to detail
• Been customer facing in former roles
• Prepared to travel on a daily basis
• Good time keeper
