A leading vehicle breakdown service provider is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Darlington. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with overtime, extensive benefits, and career progression opportunities. Mobile Vehicle Technician
Location: Darlington
Salary: £18.58 per hour (£38,652 per year) with an exceptional career progression plan to increase your base salary. Any overtime worked is £27.87 per hour after 40 hours! Work 45 hours per week and your salary is £45,800.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturdays with a day off in the week, shifts between 8am and 5pm, up to 8pm in summer months.

Role responsibilities:
• Attend breakdowns to diagnose issues, working with the breakdown team
• Repair vehicles to get them back on the road or return them to the workshop
• Identify problems and advise customers
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance, electrical & diagnostic work
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business
Requirements:
• Level 3-qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent); Level 2 candidates considered if qualifications are demonstrated
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a workshop or mobile role
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans
• Technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
