Job description

Mobile Vehicle Technician required in East London.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join one of the UK’s leading vehicle hire company, being based on a mobile basis in and around the East London area.

Your role as Mobile Vehicle Technician will be to support their fleet customers to deliver a high quality of service and maintain vehicles as and when required. Being mobile your van will be equipped with latest diagnostic equipment required all you need to provide is your own tools which will be fully insured when stored in the van.

The work will be servicing and general maintenance of vehicles working off site, completing diagnostic repairs and fault finding. Your aim is to ensure they get vehicles back on the road safely and in quick time.

Details & Benefits of this Mobile Vehicle Technician role:

• A competitive starting salary of £40,000 p.a. with an overall earning of up to £45,000 p.a.
• Bonus Opportunity which is quarterly paid.
• Any overtime is paid and time+half.
• Monday to Friday (42.5 hour week) 8.00am-5.30pm.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.00am-12.00pm at time+half (working in branch on Saturdays not mobile).
• 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) & 1 Birthday Day holiday.
• Jobs are sent through 5 days in advance so your days will be planned in advance.

Requirements for this Mobile Vehicle Technician role:

• You must be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with a solid workshop background.
• Able to complete routine servicing and maintenance or a more complex diagnostic, you will know how to solve it.
• You will be used to working in a fast-paced background producing a high-quality of work.
• You will enjoy a broad mix of work i.e. servicing, general maintenance, warranty work and recalls across a wide range of vehicles in their fleet, you can be sure every day will present you with a new challenge.
• Reside in the East London area for ease getting to/from clients sites.
