Job summary

The AA is seeking an AA Mobile Mechanic Plus in Berkshire to service and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces. You will work 49 hours over five days, 8am–8pm, Monday to Saturday, with on-road driving from your own driveway to jobs and back.

For Level 2, an NVQ Level 2 is required, with strong servicing experience; for Level 3, an NVQ Level 3 with diagnostics and repair skills is preferred. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent for Level 2 role.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent for Level 3 role.
• Full UK Category B driving licence with up to six points.
• Flexibility to work the advertised rota, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults where appropriate.
• Use technical knowledge to identify problems and find solutions.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver high standard of workmanship and customer service.
