Job summary

ACL Vans requires a skilled Mobile Mechanic to service, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles on the move across Central Scotland. You will test, diagnose and repair to high technical and safety standards, ensuring safe handover.

Applicants should hold a Full UK Driving Licence and an IMI Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) with experience in mobile or workshop settings. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Full UK Driving Licence.
• IMI Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience as mobile or workshop technician.
• Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Examine vehicles and report defects or potential failures.
• Carry out tyre replacement and other mechanical repairs per standards.
• Use a range of tools to work on various makes/models.
• Ensure safe, roadworthy condition before handover to customers.
