Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Swindon
Salary: £38,625 + Bonus (OTE £48,000) + Company Van
Hours: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. 40-hours per week

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's main site in Swindon. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle makes and models. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated with automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements:

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered with equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI, or NVQ. Must provide proof of qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points or bans.
• Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
