Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Swindon

Salary: £38,625 + Bonus (OTE £48,000) + Company Van

Hours: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. 40-hours per week

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle makes and models, utilizing diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues. Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and repair vehicle issues including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical problems.
  2. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  3. Utilize diagnostic tools and software for complex problem resolution.
  4. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  7. Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered, with equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI, or NVQ. Must provide proof of qualifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic.
