Job summary

Halfords is looking for Mobile Tyre Technicians based in Chelmsford, with relocation planned to a new Brentwood site. You will deliver booked tyre services to customers’ homes or workplaces, loading the van and planning routes from your base location.

You’ll need tyre removal/repair/fitting experience, strong face-to-face customer service, IT proficiency, and a full driving licence with minimal points. The role is full-time, 44 hours/week, with a salary of £30,000 per annum plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Tyre removal, repair and fitting experience.
• Excellent face-to-face customer service.
• IT literate and able to use electronic booking device.
• Ability to plan workload and work proactively.
• Full driving licence held for at least 12 months with max 6 points.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and manage the National Mobile van and all equipment.
• Load the van and plan the route from base location.
• Travel to customers' homes or workplaces to perform booked jobs.
