Mobile Technician - Bristol/Cardiff

U-Drive is recruiting a positive and 'can-do' professional Mobile Technician eager to provide excellent service. Your main responsibility will be maintaining and servicing vehicles across the Bristol and Cardiff areas.

About The Role

Position in and around Bristol/Cardiff. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary, with a standard 42-hour workweek, Monday to Friday. As a Mobile Technician, you will cover the Bristol and Cardiff regions, ensuring vehicle maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Central Operations team to prioritize work.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on customer and company vehicles.
• Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostics.
• Execute preventive maintenance to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle servicing.
• Attend breakdowns as needed.
• Keep accurate records of work and parts used.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Maintenance and Repair.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Mechanic.
• Strong technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
• Problem-solving skills and customer-facing abilities.
• Full UK driving license.
