Mobile Technical Supervisor – South West Central Region
Covering Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Taunton, and Yeovil

Are you a multi-skilled engineer with a strong background in Facilities Management and team leadership? We’re looking for a Mobile Technical Supervisor to support our Area Facilities Manager in delivering first-class service across a portfolio of sites in the South West Central area.

The Role You’ll play a key part in leading a large team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of PPM, reactive maintenance, compliance tasks, and health & safety standards across all sites. With a balance of hands-on technical expertise and strategic oversight, you’ll support day-to-day operations while maintaining high levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a large technical team across multiple locations
  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services to a high standard
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and company policies
  • Conduct site audits and support compliance reporting
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain service excellence
  • Assist in developing operational strategies with the Area Facilities Manager
  • Use CAFM systems for task management and reporting
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture across all activities

About You

  • A qualified, multi-skilled engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating large teams
  • Standard DBS Required
  • Able to think clearly and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
  • Familiar with CAFM systems and digital task reporting
  • Solid understanding of building services, facilities operations, and legislation
  • Well-versed in Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality assurance systems
  • Commercially aware with basic analytical skills
